A Second Staff Member In The Peel School District Has Tested Positive For COVID-19
The employee was not identified due to privacy concerns.
Following the first confirmed case, another Peel District School Board staff member has tested positive for COVID-19, this time at the North Field Office.
The last day the employee worked was August 28. The office has been thoroughly cleaned and is remaining open, says 680 News, who obtained an internal memo dated September 1 to staff members from the Superintendent of Education, Michael Logue.
We have been made aware of an individual in our office building on Aug. 28 who has since tested positive for COVID-19.

“We know that news of COVID-19 can create feelings of anxiousness, and so we wanted to make sure you had this information as soon as possible to help alleviate concerns," Logue wrote in his memo.
This is the second confirmed case of COVID-19 among the staff of the board.
Earlier today, it was reported that aat Ross Drive Public School tested positive for the virus.
