Another case of COVID-19 has been confirmed at Toronto's Brass Rail Tavern, however this time, the infected individual was a customer.

Toronto Public Health warned last week that up to 550 people may have been exposed to the disease after a worker at the gentleman's club tested positive.

TPH's Dr. Vinita Dubey told CP24 that an investigation of The Brass Rail was conducted, which found that proper protocols were not being observed.

They were not following the regulation for example, physical distancing between tables, physical distancing between the staff...

"This person lives outside of Toronto and TPH is working with the applicable health unit who will request information about possible sources of infection as part of their investigation," Dr. Dubey said in a statement shared with Narcity.

Health authorities cannot yet confirm if the two cases are connected, according to CP24. Narcity has reached out to TPH for more details on this.

The City of Toronto stated last week that patrons who visited The Brass Rail at nighttime between August 4 and August 8 should self-monitor for symptoms.
