SeaWorld & Busch Gardens Have Officially Put On Hold 2 New Attractions Until 2021
The delays are due to COVID-19.
You will have to wait at least a year to ride the new attractions at SeaWorld Orlando and Busch Gardens Tampa Bay.
The parks parent company, Sea World Entertainment, has decided to push back the opening of new attractions company-wide until 2021.
Postponing to 2021 the opening of rides that were still under construction and originally scheduled to open in 2020.
Two new attractions scheduled to open this year in Florida were Ice Breaker at SeaWorld and the Iron Gwazi at Busch Gardens.
Another new coaster, the Texas Stingray at SeaWorld's San Antonio park, was also pushed back.
The hold on new rides came after a disastrous earnings call for the company, who lost over 90% of its visitors in 2020 thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic.
