This figure is more than the total population of Canada, which Statistics Canada says was just over 38 million at the end of 2020.

As of Thursday, 72,135,616 Americans had received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, which is 21.7% of the country’s population.

Canada, on the other hand, had fully vaccinated 573,571 people (1.51% of the population) as of March 6, 2021. Canada’s full vaccination data is updated weekly, so it’s worth noting that there's a slight delay in the figures.
