Ontario has a hidden swimming hole with 'sapphire blue' water that feels like the Caribbean

You can float in turquoise waves.

Summer days are made for soaking up sun and splashing through water, and this Ontario lake is the perfect place to do both. With vibrant blue water and breathtaking surroundings, it's like a hidden paradise right here in the province.

This swimming hole is tucked away amidst stunning mountains and towering trees, but getting there requires a bit of a hike.

Topaz Lake, located in Killarney Provincial Park, is a gorgeous spot for a swim.

According to the park, the dreamy glacial lake features "sapphire blue water" that "feels as if you're in the Caribbean."

It's one of the bluest lakes in the park, surrounded by majestic white quartzite cliffs that look like they've been plucked from another land.

You can float the day away in the turquoise waves and soak up the stunning scenery the park has to offer.

This lake is a hidden gem for a reason — you'll need to hike for about seven to eight hours round-trip to enjoy this spot.

Luckily, Killarney has several campsites, including one at Topaz Lake, that you can book to spread the trip out over several days.

Topaz Lake can be found on the La Cloche Silhouette Trail, which offers stunning views of wildflowers and wildlife. Along the way, you'll pass by the white quartzite mountains from the La Cloche Mountain Range and some other beautiful blue lakes such as Lumsden Lake, Acid Lake, and Cave Lake.

If you're up for an adventure this summer, Topaz Lake is a stunning natural wonder to discover.
