The northernmost regions of Ontario can expect 15 to 30 centimetres of snow and 70 km/h winds from Monday afternoon through Tuesday evening, according to Environment Canada.

And a mix of rain and snow is expected in Central Ontario today, from Chapleau-Gogoma to North Bay-West Nipissing and Kirkland Lake-Temiskaming Shores-Temagami.

And a special weather advisory is in place for Ottawa and the surrounding regions, with heavy rainfall expected all day that's expected to decrease visibility and increase the chance of flooding.
