Ontario Is About To Get Hit With One Last Warm Streak Before Plunging Into 15 cm Of Snow

Thursday and Friday are going to be so nice!
Contributing Writer

Ontarians will have one more chance to enjoy those early fall vibes this week as temperatures climb back into the double-digits.

Thursday and Friday will be a notable change in pace for Ontario's weather forecast, which has been dealing with everything from snow to 100 kilometres an hour winds.

The GTA and the Niagara Falls region will see daytime highs of 14 C by November 19, 2020, so you might want to get outside!

However, the welcomed shift in temperature won't last long as winter will return with a vengeance by Sunday.

TWN reports that temperatures will dip back into seasonal values by Saturday, bringing wet snow along the 401 corridors.

"The wet snow will then change to rain during the afternoon and evening, with no snow accumulation expected across most of the Greater Toronto Area and for areas that are below the escarpment," Doug Gillham, Weather Network meteorologist, said.

However, cottage country regions such as Barrie and Bancroft could get up to 15 centimetres of snow by next week.
