Ottawa Has A Secret House That Is Straight Out Of ‘National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation’

It looks just like the movie!
Staff Writer

Are you searching for the best place to see Christmas lights? Then you need to visit the Griswold house in Ottawa.

One local family re-created the jaw-dropping house from National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation.

Editor's Choice: Ontario Is About To Get Buried In Heaps Of Snow & Awful Travel Conditions

You can see it for yourself for free at 18 Cypress Garden in Stittsville.

The building is covered in so many lights that even Clark Griswold would approve.

But it doesn't stop there; you can spot many of the iconic moments from the film too.

There is a 1980s station wagon with a gigantic evergreen, plus an RV complete with a life-sized photo of Cousin Eddie.

Outside the Turcotte's house, there is also a large sign asking people to donate to the Stittsville Food Bank by scanning the QR code.

It is time to put on your Santa hat and drive over to see this festive outdoor attraction for yourself.
