Ottawa Has A Hidden Cascading Waterfall & Here’s Where To Find It

Watery waiting for? 💦

Staff Writer

One of Ottawa's most stunning waterfalls is somewhere you'd never expect. Hidden in the middle of Orleans, you can find the cascading Princess Louise Falls.

Most locals have no ideas how to reach this hidden gem, as there are no signs to direct you where to go.

But it worth the search as you'll get to see a tall cascade that looks like it belongs in a lush jungle instead of suburbia.

The easiest way to get there is to follow the footpath that starts just before the intersection of Taylor Creek Drive and St. Joseph Boulevard.

It runs parallel to the street and will take you through the forest directly to the base of the falls.

The other option is the path between Fallingbrook Ridge and Cezanne Crescent. At the split, take a left and follow the walkway behind the house and down a steep slope.

No matter which option you pick, the walk will take you around 15 minutes, but it's worth it for the photo-worthy view.
