New cases of COVID-19 in Ottawa

Of the 20 new cases, seven people are teenagers, five are people in their 20s, and four are children that are nine years old and younger.

According to Dr. Vera Etches, Ottawa’s medical officer of health, indoor house parties and people going into work sick are likely to be causing the recent spike.

The City has not reported any new COVID-19-related deaths for 23 consecutive days.
