It's been a phenomenal July for stargazers with comet NEOWISE dazzling the night sky, and you can expect the month to end with a bang.

Delta Aquarids will shoot across the sky, with conditions becoming optimal around July 27 and peaking on July 30, according to the Old Farmer's Almanac

Cloudy skies, moon glare, and light pollution may make the shooting stars hard to see so the Almanac suggests that you find someplace dark and away from the city.

Once you have prime viewing conditions, you'll want to look south around predawn, "which means an hour or so before morning twilight."

With clear skies on the horizon at the beginning of next week in the Valley, it's the perfect excuse to get outdoors and take in a stunning celestial event.
