It's heating up fast in Arizona, and you're about to see why.
Grand Canyon National Park shared a picture to its Twitter page showing how shade makes a difference in the desert.
It's a 30-degree difference!
Grand Canyon NPS also warned that during the summer, nearly all shade on canyon trails disappear and temperatures increase the further down you go.
They recommend that you avoid going on hikes between 10 am - 4 pm when visiting.
