Located in Safford, Arizona, Roper Lake State Park has gorgeous mountain and water views. With Mount Graham nearby, you can take a scenic hike and visit the park to swim and unwind after.

Entrance fees are $10 per vehicle, which makes it a super cheap day trip with your boo. 

To make the most of your lakeside stay, you can stay in one of the shoreside cabin rentals. Most of them are pet-friendly and can sleep up to four people.
