Tumacácori Natural Historical Park is a vast, 360-acre historical site that spans across three separate areas preserving the ruins of ancient Spanish mission communities.

It's about 45 minutes south of Tucson, so it's perfect for a day trip or a quick stop if you're driving along the way. 

The Mission San Cayetano de Tumacácori was founded in 1691 by Spanish missionaries.

The first adobe churches were built in 1757, and the most famous church was never actually finished.

You can visit these incredible ruins and check out the architecture that's been preserved for hundreds of years. 

The park is surrounded by gorgeous rolling mountains that make you feel like you've been transported to another country.

Make sure you take time to explore the whole area fully; there are tons of hidden gems to discover.

This small Pima village costs $10 to visit, and your admission is valid for seven days. Those with a National Park Pass can visit for free!
