President Joe Biden just moved into his new digs at the White House and he included some personal touches when he redecorated the Oval Office

Among those personal touches is an out-of-this-world display that was given to him by NASA itself — a Moon rock.

That's right, the President of the United States has a piece of the Moon sitting in the room where he works every day.

According to NASA, Apollo 17 astronauts and moonwalkers chipped the sample away from a large boulder on the Moon.

Upon the request of the Biden Administration, NASA loaned the Moon rock to the new president so it could be put on display in the Oval Office.

"In symbolic recognition of earlier generations’ ambitions and accomplishments, and support for America’s current Moon to Mars exploration approach, a Moon rock now sits in the Oval Office of the White House," said NASA in a statement

If you thought your place had cool decorations, think again — You just can't beat a Moon rock.
