A portion of each sale will go to The Black Academy.
Senior Writer

The new Roots Révolutionnaire t-shirt is in recognition of Black History Month and a portion of proceeds from each sale will go to a good cause.

It's a part of a collaboration between the two fashion brands and the t-shirt is a sneak peek into a collection that's coming in fall 2021.

February 5 the t-shirt becomes available for purchase

The design of the Dreams Fuel Revolutions t-shirt is meant to honour the historical significance of dreams and the role they still have.

It will be available online for a limited time starting on February 5.

You can buy it on both the Roots and Révolutionnaire sites.

A portion of each t-shirt sale will be donated to The Black Academy and Roots will also donate some proceeds from made-in-Canada mask sales in February.

The Black Academy, which works to celebrate Black talent and combat systemic racism in Canada, is also getting a donation from Cineplex.

The movie theatre chain has an online collection of more than 100 films to celebrate Black History Month and money from Cineplex Store purchases throughout February will go to the organization.
