Ryan Reynolds has a bone to pick with daylight saving time, and it's not the first time the issue has come up for him.

On March 7, the Canadian shared a video on his social media where people are asked to "kill and bury daylight savings" and it features a unique host.

The video, which is from Reynolds' company Maximum Effort, features actor David Dastmalchian playing the part of an owner of a casket business.

Dastmalchian lists all the ways in which Daylight Saving Time is harmful to people's health, including hospitals seeing a 24% rise in heart attacks. As the owner of a casket business, he admits that he has an interest in people dying, but that he and his business can wait.

He then asks people to visit a website that urges people to put the "national nuisance" of Daylight Saving Time six feet under. The site includes a script that Canadians can send to policymakers to abolish the bi-annual change in time.

In 2022, Reynolds teams up with his buddy Mark Ruffalo to create an ad urging people to ditch Daylight Saving Time.

"I still think daylight savings is so stupid," Reynolds said of the practice.

"It's idiotic," Ruffalo agreed.

Daylight saving time starts in Canada on Sunday, March 10.
