Looking for some winter adventures? This snow-filled destination near Ottawa is brimming with frosty thrills and it's worth a road trip.

Nestled between mountains and valleys, the attraction is home to cozy chalets, sparkling slopes and cold-weather fun. It's actually been named the "largest snowsliding centre in the world" according to Bonjour Québec, making it a great spot to enjoy the outdoors this winter.

Plus, it's just under 2 hours away from Ottawa, so you can plan a day trip or weekend getaway without driving too far.

Glissades du Domaine des Pays d'en Haut, located in Piedmont, is a winter amusement centre featuring sledding, tubing and more.

The destination is the "largest snowsliding centre in the world" with 61 slopes, 15,000 lifts per hour, 13 snow ride areas and five types of sleds.

You can enjoy 80-metre vertical drops with panoramic views as you speed through the snow.

The sled options include snow tubes, the tornado, rafting, Vortex360 and bobsleighs. The rides range from all-ages to expert and some seat up to 12 people.

During your visit, you can grab some food and snacks form the Halte-Resto Versant-Soleil and warm up by the outdoor fires. You don't want to miss out on the maple taffy served at the Cabane à Tire.

Tickets can be purchased online and start at $39.99 per adult.
