It's never too early to start planning that winter getaway, and this Ontario city is a gorgeous snowy weather destination to escape to.

With sparkling lakes, frosty trees and endless nature adventures, you'll feel like you've stepped into a scene from Narnia at this spot.

In a press release, Airbnb released its 2024 winter travel trends for Canadians, featuring everything from international vacations to local Ontario getaways.

North Bay, located in North Eastern Ontario, is the one of the top 10 trending domestic destinations for Canadians this winter.

The city is "nestled between two of Northeastern Ontario’s most stunning lakes and surrounded by forests," according to Tourism North Bay.

During the winter, North Bay transforms into a "snowy wonderland" and there's lots to enjoy.

You can glide around the skate path at Lee Park, visit the frosty Duchesnay Falls, or wander to glistening snowy views along the Laurentian Escarpment.

You can also take part in activities like skiing, snowboarding, ice fishing and snowmobiling for a dreamy winter experience.

During the holiday season, you can visit The North Bay Winter Outdoor Market or take part in the Downtown Old Fashioned Christmas Walk.

Two other Ontario destinations made it to the top 10 trending domestic destinations for Canadians this winter. Both Toronto and Blue Mountain were featured on the list, with Blue Mountain ranking as the most popular spot for a snowy getaway.

With frosty streets and snow-covered landscapes, you can enjoy a magical winter vacation in this Ontario city.
