The Starbucks Canada BOGO deal is back from Tuesday, March 23 to Monday, March 29 and here's what you need to do to get a free drink before the offer ends.

It's happening at participating stores and drive-thrus in Canada and you can only redeem your offer code once.

How do I get this deal?

If you want to get this deal, you have to go online to sign up or sign in.

Once you do that, you'll see your single-use offer code which you can screenshot or you can wait for it to show up in your inbox.

Then you have to order a handcrafted drink that's grande or larger along with one of equal or lesser value.

You'll get that second one for free.

Be sure to get the barista to scan your code before you pay so that you get the BOGO deal.

What are handcrafted drinks?

You've probably heard this term before with past BOGO deals at Starbucks but you might not know just what's considered a handcrafted drink.

It's pretty much any beverage a barista makes behind the bar.

That includes cappuccinos, lattes, flat whites, macchiatos, mochas, frappuccinos, cold brews, iced shaken espressos and more so there are lots of options for you with this offer.

Brewed coffee, hot brewed tea, bottled beverages and alcohol are not handcrafted drinks.

What seasonal drinks can I get right now?

For spring, the Brown Sugar Oat Americano, a Canadian exclusive, was introduced and it's made with Blonde Espresso, brown sugar syrup, water and topped with steamed oat beverage and cinnamon.

You can also try the Iced Brown Sugar Oat Shaken Espresso, which is a combination of cold coffee, oat beverage, espresso, brown sugar, cinnamon and ice.

This season, the Iced Shaken Espresso was also introduced, which is made from espresso, milk and "just enough sweetness" and it's a part of the core menu.

If you want to celebrate the new season, you can try Starbucks Refreshers, which are basically spring in a cup to bring a pop of colour to your life.
