A new summer forecast for 2025 is out early and offers a sneak peek at what's to come.

So, here's what you can expect from Canada's weather during the season, including where "scorching" temperatures will be.

Recently, the Farmers' Almanac summer forecast for Canada was released.

The season officially starts with the summer solstice on June 20, 2025.

According to the Farmers' Almanac, the beginning of the season will be unsettled and stormy for most of the country, except for the maritime provinces.

Then, the heat will arrive in full force by July. Most of Canada is expected to be "sweltering" with temperatures that are more than above average!

This heat should break a few long-standing temperature records.

Much of the country will get near-average precipitation, but B.C. and parts of Alberta will be drier than normal. That could lead to "widespread" wildfires this summer.

It's forecast that the summer season will be warm and dry in B.C.

Also, "scorching" temperatures are expected across Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba, according to the forecast. There will be average rainfall in the Prairies, except for parts of Alberta.

Ontario's summer weather forecast from the Farmers' Almanac called for a season with "sultry" temperatures and thunder-filled weather.

In Quebec, temperatures are expected to be "broiling," but precipitation should be average.

It's forecast to be very warm with normal rainfall in Atlantic Canada.

As the end of summer approaches, hurricane season ramps up, and that has an impact on parts of Canada.

Tropical cyclone activity typically increases during the second week of August and reaches a peak at the beginning of September, according to the Farmers' Almanac.

It's expected that there will be a hurricane threat to parts of Atlantic Canada during the second week of September.
