Fan Expo Vancouver is coming back, and the first of its celebrity guest lineup has been announced — and Star Wars superfans won't be disappointed.

Alan Tudyk, known for his sci-fi roles in Resident Alien, Firefly, and as K-2SO in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, will be in town for the legendary fandom weekend this winter. Tudyk will be appearing at the event on Saturday and Sunday, so if you're a fan make sure to get tickets for those days!

Iman Vellani charmed audiences as the star of Ms. Marvel on Disney+ last year, but the Canadian actor was still star-struck when she showed up to shoot The Marvels as her first feature film.

In fact, the Toronto-area actress got shy when she met Samuel L. Jackson on the set of the Marvel film, according to The Marvels director Nia DaCosta.

Fan Expo 2023 took place in Toronto this weekend, and while some of the big names scheduled for the event couldn't make it due to the SAG-AFTRA strike, two A-list Canadians came out to represent.

Iman Vellani, who plays the lead character Kamala Khan in Ms. Marvel, and Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, who plays Devi Vishwakumar on the Netflix hit Never Have I Ever, showed off some seriously fun cosplay at the event.

Daredevil actor Charlie Cox and co-star Vincent D’Onofrio got a taste of Canadian hospitality at Fan Expo in Toronto on Sunday, where a random question sparked a potato chip taste test.

Cox, who is British, and D’Onofrio, who is American, were wrapping up a panel at the convention when they were asked a series of “either-or” questions. They breezed through the first few questions before they were asked which Canadian chip flavour is better: ketchup or all-dressed.
