According to U-Haul the city that took the number one spot for growth was North Bay.

In a news release, the company said that the Ontario city saw the biggest net gain of one-way U-Haul trucks compared to all places in Canada, meaning that Canadians were hitting the road up north.

North Vancouver, Kingston, Belleville, and the Barrie/Orillia corridor were among the other top five cities.

Ontario had 10 cities within the top 15, Quebec had six cities in the top 25 and British Columbia had five.
