This TikTok Video Of A Rescued BC Grizzly Being Fed From A Gondola Will Warm Your Heart

It's like getting a giant bear hug.

Staff Writer

If you need a little pick-me-up, this TikTok video featuring a rescued B.C. grizzly bear's feeding time has you covered.

In a video posted by Kicking Horse Mountain Resort, a staff member is seen hanging out of a gondola, dropping all kinds of goodies to the rescued bear named Boo.

*We are not feeding a wild animal* Boo the bear is a rescue bear living in our 20 acre enclosed bear refuge! #grizzlybear #bc #canada

The staff member is seen throwing down a watermelon and corn among another handful of veggies.

As part of the Kicking Horse Mountain Resort, the 20-acre enclosed Kicking Horse Grizzly Bear Refuge "was built specifically for the orphaned cubs. Observing their behaviour and life skill development has provided a unique opportunity for grizzly bear research," the website reads.

According to the website, Boo the bear was brought into the refuge after his mom was shot and killed by a poacher in June 2002.

Boo was born in B.C.'s Cariboo Mountains and has lived at the refuge ever since he was just 5 months old.

The grizzly even has his own Instagram page so you can keep up with his daily life and for those who may want to pay him a visit, details can be found on the resort's website.
