It might not be snowing yet, but Toronto's about to welcome something so festive it'll have you humming carols in no time.

The Distillery Winter Village, formerly the Toronto Christmas Market, is officially returning to the city just in time for the holidays, and tickets are already on sale.

The "world-famous" market will run from November 13, 2025, to January 4, 2026, offering endless Christmas magic and festive treats to enjoy.

Located in Toronto's Distillery Historic District, The Distillery Winter Village completely transforms 13 acres of cobblestone streets and Victorian architecture into a glittering dreamland with thousands of lights, frosty magic, and more.

This year, one million visitors from around the world are expected to attend, making The Distillery Winter Village "one of the most popular holiday destinations of its kind," according to a press release.

You can enjoy sparkling streets filled with holiday lights, photo ops, carollers, festive treats, boozy drinks and quaint vendor cabins.

This year, you can visit a new Santa's Village with a Narnia-inspired theme, as well as see returning favourites such as roaming carollers, themed outdoor cocktail bars, the countdown clock, and more.

You'll want to come hungry, as the market is known for its delicious Christmas treats, such as the viral Cluny s'mores hot chocolate.

The full line-up of events and entertainment will be announced in October.

The opening night will take place on November 13 at 6 p.m., with "the most anticipated holiday tradition in the country - the lighting of Canada's most iconic Christmas tree."

Thousands of visitors are expected to join Santa as he officially kicks off Toronto's Christmas Market.

Tickets are already on sale for the enchanting event, so you can start planning your festive outing early.

Tickets are required during peak periods, including: Opening Night, Fridays through Sundays after 4 p.m., Thursdays in December after 4 p.m., and every day from December 15 to 31.

Admission starts at $15, and children nine and under are free.

"We know it's early to be talking about the holidays, but we wanted to give Toronto an early Christmas present by launching tickets today so everyone can start planning their visit," Rik Ocvirk, Vice President, The Distillery Restaurants Corp. and Director, Experiences and Events, The Distillery Historic District, said in a press release.

"Many of The Distillery Winter Village favourites are back this year - from Santa's Village to the Naughty or Nice Bar to our famous photo ops; but we've also got some exciting new experiences in store that we can't wait to share when we announce the full line-up next month."

If you can't wait for glittering lights, cozy cups of cocoa, and endless holiday cheer, it's never too early to start planning a trip to Toronto's iconic Christmas Market.
