You can discover a little slice of paradise just outside of Toronto. This picturesque conservation area is reopening for the season, and it's brimming with scenic trails and natural wonders.

If you're looking for a magical spot to stretch your legs, you might want to plan a trip here.

Belfountain Conservation Area is a scenic park in Caledon, an hour away from Toronto. The destination is reopening for the season on April 26, 2025, and it's a beautiful place for a day trip.

The area is home to scenic limestone cliffs, historical sites and boardwalks that take you along a rushing river.

One of the highlights is the suspension bridge, which takes you right over a dreamy waterfall. You can enjoy the sounds and sights of cascading water as you wander across the fairytale bridge.

To get to the waterfall, you can follow the Gorge Trail or Accessible Paths from the parking lot. The Gorge Trail is rated as difficult, so be sure to wear appropriate footwear.
