Patio season is finally upon us! If you’re looking for breathtaking spots to sip sangria this summer, then we’ve found just the place. This gorgeous restaurant patio near Toronto is a true oasis and it will give you major European vibes. 

Located in the gorgeous lakefront town of Niagara-on-the-Lake, Shaw Cafe and Wine Bar is the perfect place for grabbing a meal in the sunshine with your bestie this summer.

The outdoor patio and its calming fountain look straight out of Europe and it's overflowing with lush, colourful foliage so you can bask in every colour of the rainbow.

It is also one of the best spots in town for people-watching, if that’s your kind of fun.

According to a post on the cafe’s Facebook page, the patio is open now on a first-come, first-serve basis from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays and 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. on weekends.

Niagara-on-the-Lake is just one of many small towns in Ontario with a Euro vibe to them, so it’s no surprise that this restaurant looks like it came straight out of Paris. 

So go ahead, stop and smell the flowers at this magical spot.

And if you were wondering, yes, the food is just as good as the atmosphere. 

From simple but delectable charcuterie boards to steamed mussels and a roasted chicken pear salad, the appetizer menu alone has us drooling. 

And the best part? Wine, wine, and, you guessed it, more wine.

The wine list is comprised of 23 local favourites with everything from Pinto to Merlot and every Rosé in between. 

Of course, it’s hard to pass on Shaw’s famous sangria as well.

Recent reviews suggest that the service here is friendly and enthusiastic, which only adds to the beauty of this spot.
