It's finally happening — Vincent Van Gross, the opulent Corpse Flower at the Toronto Zoo is about to bloom.

The Amorphophallus titanium plant smells like death and if you want a whiff then you need to get there Sunday, August 9 and the zoo will stay open late for you.

This species only blooms for 8-36 hours

Timed tickets are on sale for just $5 each to catch a glimpse at the ultra-rare bloom from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

It takes years for the unique flower to reach its full bloom which only lasts a handful of hours.
