Residents will now have access to voluntary COVID-19 isolation rooms in Peel, and the accommodations are described as "hotel quality."

Not only do they offer transportation, meals, and snacks, but you'll also have a queen-sized bed, a three-piece bathroom, unlimited Wi-Fi, and a TV all to yourself.

"Help is available for anyone in Peel who can’t safely self-isolate at home," says the Region of Peel. "Let us take care of you, so you can protect others."

There is absolutely no cost for the program and you don't need an OHIP card, either. The initiative is funded by the Government of Canada.

You can spend up to 14 days in your suite, or until you test negative for COVID-19. Children under the age of 16 are required to stay with a guardian.

You'll get three meals a day during your stay, on-site medical service, and a ride there and back.

The rooms will be opening up in Brampton and Mississauga, two of Ontario's pandemic hotspots.

Peel isn't the only region with free isolation centres — Toronto has the same program with similar hotel-style rooms.
