Durham Public Health is taking Ontarians through a virtual COVID-19 vaccine appointment today to help showcase the procedure. 

The video walk-through, which was shared on Twitter on Thursday, outlines the process of registration, immunization and recovery.

All residents who have a booked appointment will be screened for COVID-19 symptoms upon entering a vaccination centre before being registered. 

From there, patients will stand in a socially distanced line and wait for a nearby immunizer to hold up a green availability sign.

Once you have received your vaccine dose, you'll be asked to wait 15-30 minutes before heading to the check-out counter, where you will receive your vaccine receipt
