Apparently, the pandemic has done wonders for Premier Doug Ford's approval ratings. In The Angus Reid Institute's newest data, Ford holds second place as the country's most approved-of premier.
Who holds first place, you ask? British Columbian NDP Premier John Horgan.
The data shows that Ford's approval rating has increased a great amount since February 2020 — timing that coincides perfectly with the onset of the pandemic in Canada.
During that time, his approval rating more than doubled from 31% to 69%.
Premier Andrew Furey of Newfoundland and Labrador appears to have the lowest approval rating of the country, which currently sits at 34%.
