A drool-worthy event is coming to the city, and it will have you craving the weekend even more.

A Fried Chicken Festival near Toronto is happening at Hillcrest Mall this weekend, and you can indulge in all the crispy comfort food you've ever dreamed of.

Hosted by Street Eats Market, the event will run from December 4 to 6.

You can indulge in over 25 variations of fried chicken, including Smoked Fried Chicken Poutine and Guava Glazed Island Chicken.

The event is operating as a unique Curbside Pickup Food Festival and is the first of its kind in the province. 

Order your dishes online, then select a pickup time slot and have your meals delivered right to your vehicle when you arrive.

The dishes are available to preorder online starting at 7 p.m. today, so it's time to plan that weekend feast.

Admission is free, and proceeds are being donated to food banks across the GTA.
