Whether you're a fan of the Colonel or Popeye's, it's hard to deny just how tempting fried chicken can be. If you're a big fan of this particular food, then you should think about visiting the Fried Chicken Festival in Toronto this weekend. You can try all sorts of different recipes, plus some other tasty treats as well.

The festival, which is taking place between 12:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M. on September 19 and 20 will be held outdoors at Scarborough Town Centre (located at the corner of Triton Rd. & Borough Dr.).

The event will feature all sorts of delicious fried chicken recipes, as well as snacks and dishes from Toronto restaurants including 6 Spice Rack, Chen Chen's Hot Chicken, Crunch Bags, Dope as Duck, Egg Bird, Isabella's Boutique Restaurant, and Jerk Brothers.

Guests will get the chance to choose from 30 types of fried chicken, including some truly unique combinations like ice cream chicken sandwiches, Karaage mochi donut sandwiches, and even chocolate wings.

Of course, there will also be the classics like Nashville hot chicken and jerk chicken sandwiches, and 12 "bird bosses" from all over the Greater Toronto Area will be competing to see who really has the best-fried poultry out there.

The festival organizers are taking steps to make sure that this is a safe and properly-distanced event.

They will be using floor markings to make sure people stay six feet apart, and only 100 people will be admitted into the festival at a time.

Hand sanitizer will also be made available, and high touch surfaces will be sanitized. The festival also recommends that attendees wear masks.

If you're a fried chicken fanatic, this is definitely the most delicious way that you could spend your weekend, and the best part of all is that there is no entry fee!
