What should've been a peaceful Thanksgiving weekend tee-off turned ugly on Saturday afternoon after a racist tirade broke at the Georgetown Golf Club.

Gursher Dhillon took to Instagram on Sunday to share a video of a racially-motivated altercation he experienced while playing at the members-only golf course.

In the video, Dhillon and a friend can be seen arguing with another pair before the latter calls him a racial slur.

The incident then further escalates when the younger player approaches Dhillon and demands for him to "take his f***ing drive already" before his partner calms him down.

Dhillon also shared a clip of himself talking to an employee, whom he claims allowed the family to finish.

Georgetown Golf Club issued a statement on the incident on October 11, 2020, confirming the argument had occurred on the 18th hole and that police were called.

"Incidents such as this require immediate action. To this end, the individual in question who made the racist remarks has been expelled and banned from visiting any Clublink property," wrote the golf club.

The Toronto Sun reported that the man who uttered the slur was Michael Warrington, the Chief Financial Officer for Terra Cotta Financial Group.

Warrington has reportedly been fired from his job since the incident.*
