You Can Wander Across A Lake To A Secret Island At This Stunning Ontario Trail

It's only 2 hours from Toronto!

Lead Writer, Travel

This gorgeous Ontario trail will take you right over a shining lake to a tiny island.

Located about 2 hours from Toronto, Hardy Lake Provincial Park boasts shoreline views, rocky outcrops and lush forests.

There are two trails to choose from, and the 8-kilometre loop leads across the water to the secret little island.

Along the way, you can discover wetlands, an old cabin structure and some swimming spots, although caution is advised due to the slippery shores and deep water.

The loop takes 2 to 3 hours to complete, and it's a great spot to plan a future visit to.
