OPP made a messy discovery on Highway 401 on Sunday when an unqualified driver was caught racing down the road with a guy sitting in the trunk.

The G1 driver was caught speeding down the highway in Napanee while another man was just chilling on a sofa chair in the back amid a full, unsecured truckload of furniture.

According to OPP, the driver also had two passengers in the front seat, and no one in the vehicle was qualified to drive.

Their rental vehicle was impounded after eight charges were racked up, with an upcoming Saturday court date.

The driver has also had their G1 suspended, according to the tweet.

In the photo shared by OPP, the guy in the back is sitting among all sorts of heavy furniture, including large plastic boxes, garbage bags and more.

Some of the stuff is piled high above his head, and nothing in the vehicle is secured.

This isn't the first time a driver has been booked for improperly moving.
