Group Of Ontarians Were Stranded After Their Truck Was Swallowed By A Frozen Lake (PHOTOS)

A group of Ontario fishermen were forced to be rescued after becoming stranded on a melting frozen lake.
York Regional Police reported that seven people were pulled from Lake Simcoe on March 12, after the ice broke apart and swallowed their truck.

The group, who were on an ice fishing trip, lost the vehicle, which is now at the bottom of the lake.
"Five were treated for mild hypothermia and one person was taken to hospital with severe hypothermia," the police report stated.
Police are now reminding residents to always know the condition of ice before venturing out.
