Season three of the hit Netflix show Ginny & Georgia has officially started filming, and although it takes place in a small-town U.S.A., it's actually filmed in Ontario.

Brianne Howey, who plays Georgia Miller, and Antonia Gentry, who plays her daughter Ginny, both shared photos of some behind-the-scenes moments on their Instagrams announcing that filming has kicked off.

"Let the games begin!" wrote Howey. "Season 3 LETS GO #ginnyandgeorgia."

"Happy first day of filming of season 3!!!" wrote Gentry.

The show films in Toronto and Cobourg, and fans of the show can spot the exterior of the duo's on-screen home in the Toronto neighbourhood of Baby Point, which is near the Humber River.

"I love shooting in Baby Point, I think it's so beautiful and residential and cute and all of the houses are so sweet," Howey said in an interview with Narcity Canada.

While they're in the city, Howey enjoys dining out at Paris Paris on Ossington and Burdock Brewery on Bloor near Dufferin Mall.

For Cobourg, the show has filmed on King Street, at Victoria Hall, Victoria Park, Audrey's In Town Fashion and El Camino, so you might just be able to spot the cast there.

Netflix hasn't shared a release date yet for the third season, but fingers crossed it's soon!
