There's a new movie theatre in town, and you might spend more time gazing at the views than the screen.

The Ontario Place outdoor movie theatre is officially opening to the public this weekend. 

The massive Open Air Cinema allows visitors to watch movies beneath the stars, with views of the city and water.

The venue features 100 comfy Muskoka chairs sitting in pairs on grassy pods.

On October 10, you can watch Hocus Pocus in the afternoon and A Simple Favour in the evening.

Upcoming films include TangledThe Prestige, and The Nightmare Before Christmas.

Tickets are available online only and cost $10 (after tax) per person. You can also grab food from the snack bar.

Ontario Place is also showing movies at the Cinesphere and drive-in theatre.
