Attention drivers! On-street permit parking in Toronto is back.

On August 14 at midnight, you will have to pay for residential street parking again after an enforcement pause due to COVID-19.

Permit parking will resume 

About 80% of permits were renewed since July 2, but you can now send in requests for six- and 12-month permits.

You can even do online renewal using your licence plate information, or even just apply for a day pass.

Their office is still closed to the public, but it can be reached by phone or email through the city's website
