Peel police say they have arrested and charged a suspect in a homicide investigation in Mississauga, Ont.

Police say they were called shortly before 5 a.m. Sunday on reports of a stabbing in the parking lot of an industrial area near Tomken and Kamato roads.

Police identified a 35-year-old man from Brampton, Ont., as the suspect in the stabbing Monday afternoon.

In an update less than two hours later, police said the suspect turned himself in and was charged with second-degree murder.
