The Raptors Just Unveiled A New Jersey & VanVleet Was The First To Show It Off

It's official. The Toronto Raptors' new jersey was just released, and it looks cool AF.

In a tweet on Tuesday, the team was quick to show off the new style and recently re-signed Fred VanVleet was the first to show it off.

According to Yahoo Sports, this black and gold combination will be the team's new City Edition jersey for the 2021 season.

The design isn't a total game-changer, taking a lot of cues from it's 2019-2020 predecessor.

However, the new jerseys feature a singular gold streak under the uniform's font and three gold streaks on the shorts.

The announcement seems to align itself perfectly with VanVleet's choice to rejoin the Raptors.

The 26-year-old power forward signed a four-year $85 million contract with the team.

The only tragedy is that the franchise won't debut in the 6ix this season.
