Toronto Police Don't Want You Attending This Weekend's 'Santa-Themed' Event Downtown
With the holidays right around the corner, it seems that not everyone is planning on staying home.
Toronto police are warning residents not to attend an illegal "Santa-themed" gathering in the city's downtown core this Sunday.

Police said that the event has not been authorized by the City and large vehicles are prohibited from being part of the event.
Officers will be on scene throughout the day to ensure that proper laws are met.
Currently, Toronto's lockdown restrictions have banned outdoor gatherings of more than 10 people.
While police have not named the event, A Toronto-based anti-masker named Chris Sky reshared their warning and encouraged his followers not to listen.
Instead, Sky took to his Instagram stories to encourage people to attend his anti-mask Santa Claus parade that will be happening this Sunday.
Toronto's official Santa Claus parade was pre-taped at Canada's Wonderland without crowds this year to help stop the spread of COVID-19.
