One Toronto driver tried to use the love of the Raptors to get out of a ticket last night.

An Enforcement Officer took to Twitter to share the story about the Toronto speeding ticket.

The driver was caught going 95 kilometres an hour in a 50 zone in the city.

When pulled over, the driver's excuse for their careless actions was, "Officer I have @Raptors playoffs on my mind."

However, it seems that the officer wasn't buying into the Raptors love, as he responded, "I have traffic safety on my mind."

So next time you're rushing to get to a playoff game, remember to stay within the speed limit.
