Huge hail in the city in mid-August? 🙅
Contributor

Toronto, we're in for another storm. As of 3:22 p.m. today, Environment Canada has issued a Toronto thunderstorm warning of "nickel-sized" hail and heavy rain.

EC states that a thunderstorm will move eastward over downtown, and it had already arrived by 3:30 p.m.

Photos and videos taken in the city show dark clouds and what looks like pretty hefty hail falling on Monday afternoon.

Meanwhile, Kim's Convenience actress Jean Yoon reported stones the size of rock salt falling from the sky. All of this in mid-August, too.

Environment Canada has warned Torontonians to take cover immediately, and water pooling and flash floods are to be expected.

They also state to avoid driving, as the likelihood of slippery roads is higher.

We recommend staying inside, folks — it's a grim one out there to kick off the week.
