How do people actually like sour cream glazed Timbits?

Timbits are a classic at Tim Hortons, so I decided to try them all and rank the flavours from best to worst.
You probably have a Timbit that's your go-to whenever you open a box, so you might not like what I have to say about your favourite.
Even though there have been many flavours over the years, there are only five Timbits that are always on the menu at Tim Hortons now.
You can get birthday cake, chocolate glazed, sour cream glazed, honey dip and old fashioned plain.
Narcity recently asked Canadians which flavours are the best, and quite a few people said Timbits that aren't on the menu anymore.
But when it comes to the flavours you can always get, the best Timbit is sour cream glazed, according to Canadians:
That's followed by chocolate glazed, old fashioned plain, birthday cake and honey dip.
So, I went to my local Tims and ordered a 10-pack of assorted Timbits to find out if I agree with Canadians about which flavours are the best.
Here's my opinion on sour cream glazed, chocolate glazed, old fashioned plain, birthday cake and honey dip Timbits, along with my ranking from best to worst.
Sour cream glazed Timbit
Sour cream glazed Timbit.
The sour cream glazed Timbit from Tim Hortons is an odd little dough ball, in my opinion.
It has a good crunch on the outside because of the glaze and a tender softness on the inside.
But somehow it's sweet and not sweet at the same time.
There isn't much flavour until the aftertaste kicks in, and then it's clear that this is a sour cream baked good because it's not good.
Even though many Canadians think this is the best Timbit, I just can't agree with that.
But it's not inedible so it still gets a few points!

Chocolate glazed Timbit
Chocolate glazed Timbit.
The chocolate glazed Timbit is so tasty.
It has a crunchy outer layer because of the glaze, but then the inside of the Timbit is so dense, almost like a cake.
You would expect this to be very sweet because it's chocolate covered in sugar. I think it's actually not really sweet and not too chocolatey either.
It's too bad the box of Timbits I ordered only had one chocolate glazed in it, because if there were more, I would've kept eating them.

Old fashioned plain Timbit
Old fashioned plain Timbit.
The old fashioned plain Timbit at Tim Hortons might get a bad rap for being too plain, but that's what makes it so enjoyable, in my opinion.
It's unique because all the other Timbits are sweet since they're covered in a sugary glaze, dipped in honey, topped with sprinkles or chocolate flavoured.
There's a nutmeg or cinnamon spice baked into the Timbit that is so delicious.
Old fashioned plain can be a bit dry, but it's the best one to dunk in coffee, which is a plus for me.

Birthday cake Timbit
Birthday cake Timbit.
The birthday cake Timbit at Tim Hortons is so sweet, but that's not always a good thing.
There's a nice crunch from the glaze and the sprinkles that balances out the soft centre of the Timbit.
It does taste like that classic vanilla and sprinkles birthday cake.
I think it's a little too sweet, though. There were three of these Timbits in the box I ordered, and after eating this one, having another didn't even cross my mind.
Price: $0.35 per Timbit
Rating: 3 out of 5
Honey dip Timbit
Honey dip Timbit.
The honey dip Timbit from Tim Hortons is quite soft, especially compared to the other flavours, but it's a bit too soft.
It almost feels like taking a bite out of the air.
There isn't much of a honey flavour, which means it's not too sweet, but it doesn't really taste like anything except dough.

TIMBITS RANKING
Box of Timbits from Tim Hortons.
I've tried all of these Timbit flavours before, but I had never eaten them one after the other and actually compared them all until now.
So, here's my ranking of Timbits from best to worst:
- Chocolate glazed
- Old fashioned plain
- Birthday cake
- Honey dip
- Sour cream glazed
I really don't understand how so many Canadians said sour cream glazed is the best Timbit flavour.
Since the chocolate glazed has always been my go-to, I never gave the sour cream glazed or any of the other flavours a second thought. But now that I've compared them all, the sour cream glazed Timbit really doesn't stack up.
If I paid $3.19 for a 10-pack of assorted Timbits and got even two sour cream glazed Timbits, I'd be disappointed.
Chocolate glazed, old fashioned plain and birthday cake just taste so much better than honey dip and sour cream glazed, in my opinion.
