Canada's best resort spa was just crowned, and it's tucked away in this dreamy B.C. small town not too far from Vancouver. This cozy little town is the ideal getaway for a fall weekend, with winding streets to roam, a European village vibe, and tranquillity all around.

The World Spa Awards winners for 2025 were revealed, and the Whistler Spa at Four Seasons Resort and Residences took home the title of "Canada's Best Resort Spa 2025."

It's an easy escape for Vancouverites, just an hour and a half drive away, but it feels like another world – one far off from the bustling city streets.

The Whistler Spa is situated right next to the village, surrounded by the lush nature that the area is renowned for, creating a secluded feel. At the spa, you can soak in the hot tubs looking out at nature, or relax in the sauna.

Fall is an especially stunning time to visit, when the landscape becomes extra beautiful with splashes of colour all around.

Winter in Whistler is hard to beat, though, and the warm spa pools surrounded by a fresh blanket of snow look like they're set in Narnia.

Unwinding here, surrounded by the fresh mountain air and breathtaking nature, is unmatched. You can also get various treatments here, like facials, manicures, and massages.

Staying at the resort feels like you're being pampered the whole time – not just at the spa. You can enjoy your breakfast on a scenic balcony, overlooking the mountainscape beyond.

You might want to stay cozy in your room or in the heated outdoor pools, but the village is worth exploring.

Whistler is a renowned destination for good reason, boasting dreamy pedestrian streets reminiscent of a European ski village, as well as a bunch of shopping and restaurants to explore.

As a ski destination, it's especially busy in the winter, but the fall offers fewer crowds and equal beauty.

Then there are the needless hiking trails, sparkling lakes, and mountain views to enjoy while exploring here.

Not far from town, you'll find scenic areas like Lost Lake, where you can soak in nature.

For a little more adventure, you can journey into the forest, hiking to Whistler Train Wreck — where you'll find abandoned train cars scattered around.

After it all, you can wind down once again at one of Canada's top spas.
