The Canadian Forces Snowbirds Are Taking To The Sky Again This Spring

They're heading west first!

Contributor

Look to the skies this spring and summer, because the Canadian Forces Snowbirds will be taking flight soon.

Canada's air demonstration squadron shared on Twitter that they are heading to Vancouver Island for training in the month of May.

They tweeted "The Snowbirds will be back in Comox from May 4th until the 26th for spring training!!"

While they haven't announced a final performance schedule for the season, they said in a Twitter reply that one is coming out as early as next week, and said in another reply that they should be flying over the Vancouver area in July.

Their last cross-country tour in 2020 was cut short last May when a tragic accident claimed the life of Capt. Jennifer Casey, who was the public affairs officer for the team.
