Canucks Players Didn't Want To Hit The Ice Tonight In Protest

The NHL has now followed other sports leagues in postponing games and it turns out that it was partly due to the Cancucks protesting against racial injustice.

According to a statement from the NHL, this is was the decision of the players.

A similar statement from the Canucks team said that they were 100% behind the move. 

They were to play the Vegas Golden Knights, who also posted on social media that they stood completely behind the players.

"This is bigger than hockey," said the Canucks, and games are not expected to be rescheduled until Saturday at the earliest.
