Netflix's 'Blockbuster' Was Filmed In BC & It'll Make You Seriously Nostalgic (VIDEO)

Netflix Canada just dropped a list of all the new shows and movies that are coming to the streaming platform in November 2022, and one of them was even filmed in B.C.
Blockbuster, a brand-new Netflix series, is being released next month and it was filmed in Vancouver.
While Hollywood North is used to having productions like Ryan Reynolds'The Adam Project, or Netflix's Maid, being filmed all over the province, it never gets old seeing your home on the screen.
Blockbuster joins a long list of binge-worthy shows coming next month that will have you cozying up on the sofa, and there are even some Christmas flicks incoming to get you in the spirit right after Halloween!
Blockbuster
The 10-episode Netflix comedy stars Randall Park and Brooklyn Nine-Nine's Melissa Fumero. The series follows Timmy Yoon, played by Park, who works at the last Blockbuster in America.
British Columbians can get extra excited because this series was filmed in the Vancouver area. It's also starring Vancouver's own Madeleine Arthur from To All The Boys I've Loved Before.
According to What's On Netflix, the series was filmed at Manitoba Street Studios from February 2022 to May 2022.
Deepa & Anoop: Season Two
Okay this is an animated show, so it wasn't exactly filmed in B.C., but it does have a connection to the province. Burnaby's own Pavan Bharaj is the voice of one of the main characters in the show. Season Two will be on Netflix on November 7 so look out!
When is 'Blockbuster' coming to Netflix?
The highly anticipated series about the last Blockbuster store in America is going to be premiering on November 3 on Netflix. Stars include Randall Park, Melissa Fumero and Madeleine Arthur.
